The present investigation aimed to determine the effect of a Social Skills program in self esteem, assertiveness and resilience in adolescents in the Colegio San Juan Bautista, 20 1 O. The method used was the Quantitative, and Experimental design was quasiexperimental. The study population consisted of 157 adolescents from 5 years of school at Colegio San Juan Bautista, 2010, the sample consisted of 68 adolescents, · 34 for the experimental group and 34 in the control group, which was obtained by the method of lottery or raffie and calculated using the formula for sample comparison of two groups. The technique used was the self-administered test instruments used were: Rating Scale Self-Esteem, Romero, J. (2009) (validity 80%, reliability 70%) standardized instrument, rating scale Assertiveness (97.3% validity, reliability 75%) and The Record of Assessment of Resilience (99.4% validity, reliability 83%), prepared by researchers. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 18.0. The statistical test used for the testing of the hypothesis was inferential statistics and Leven e F test for comparison of variances and Student's t test with O = 0.05 anda confidence level of 95%. The main findings were as follows: Social Skills Program was effective in selfesteem with t = 5321, p = 0.000 (p <0.05), df= 66, at the level of assertiveness with t = 6199, p = 0.000 (p <0.05), df= 66, and the level ofresilience to t = 8033, p = 0.000 (p <0.05), df = 66. Approve allowing the general hypothesis: The Social Skills Program exerts significant effect on self esteem, assertiveness and Resilience in adolescents of secondary San Juan College, 2010. What can be said that the effect of education modifies the behavior of adolescent subjects.
