Bronchiectasis has a clear attributable mortality, the impact of this disease on the health system is substantial. Therefore, the present work aims to determine the clinical-laboratory and epidemiological characteristics in patients with bronchiectasis treated at the Loreto Regional Hospital, 2019. Concluding that the majority of patients were ≥ 60 years old (46.9%), there was a predominance of sex female (59.2%), 16.3% had a history of smoking, 10.2% a history of bronchial obstruction, 24.5% a history of bacterial infection, 10.2% a history of viral infection, 28.6% a history of pulmonary tuberculosis, 10.2% a history of bronchiectasis, 30.6% history of arterial hypertension, 26.5% history of diabetes mellitus, 14.3% history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 4.1% history of cerebrovascular disease, 2 % history of asthma and 10.2% history of autoimmune disease. Regarding the clinical characteristics, symptoms such as dyspnea (79.6%), cough (61.2%), chest pain (51%) and hemoptysis (30.6%) were observed. Regarding the laboratory characteristics, 65.3% of the patients had a normal amount of leukocytes, 71.4% had neutrophilia, 59.0% had a normal amount of lymphocytes in the blood, 73.5% had anemia, all patients had a normal amount of eosinophils, 75.5% had a normal amount of platelets in the blood and patients with bronchiectasis had a mean neutrophil / lymphocyte index of 4.19.
