The purpose of this study was to establish the relationship between eating habits and nutritional status in children 6-36 months of age of human settlement Micaela Bastidas. !quitos -2010. The method was quantitative, nonexperimental design was transversal 1 correlation. The sample consisted of 180 children 6-36 months of age of human settlement Micaela Bastidas, the techniques used were: direét survey and technical Intradomiciliary heavy and carved, the instrument was the questionnaire to determine dietary habits and the state nutrition, whose validity was 92% and 78% reliability. We found the following results: 63.3% (114) of children 6-36 months of age AH Micaela Bastidas, had inadequate dietary habits and 36.7% (66) of children had adequate dietary habits and 68.3% (123) of children 6-36 months of age AH Micaela Bastidas, had good nutritional status and only l. 7% (3) of children had acute malnutrition. By linking dietary habits with nutritional status of children 6-36 months of age AH Micaela Bastidas, we found that there is a statistically significant relationship X2c = 13.895, df= 2, p = 0.001 between these variables approve allowing the hypothesis "a statistically significant relationship between eating habits and nutritional status in children 6-36 months old AAllli of Micaela Bastidas, Iquitos 2010.
