This study was realizad to determine the efficience of Taspine to Croton lechlerii (blood of drago) of the basins of the rivers Nanay (Low) and Napo (upper), alkaloid that is ocurrence in the latex of the genus Croton sp. in order to point out which is the most promising basin performance for experts able to establish breeding progeny efficience and biogenetic relationships of the species under study, but in different basins. The objective was to determine the efficience of taspina of two authentic samples isolated from the latex of Sangre de grado (Croton lechlerii) from the basins to Nanay Lower and Napo Upper respectively. The experimental method had consisted of a stand of trees scattered over an area of 600m2), selected a stout tree 30cm diameter and 15mt higher. It is take is sample a liter of latex per basin level, to 200 ml of both samples is addition 150 ml distille wáter and 40 ml of etanol at hydroalcoholic extract, then this extract to alkaline medium (pH 11) with ammonia to 35% was carried and extracted repeatedly with chloroform in order to remove the alkaloid of other substances; solubility differentiation that two phases are obtained: the aqueous phase is the upper layer and the second lower layer chloroform layer. The chloroform extract was concentrated in rotary evaporator and a white powder which was washed with dioxane (crown ether) to obtain the purity was verified by TLC was obtained; melting point 253 ° C similar to that reported by other authors literature. NMR spectrometric tests (1H and 13C) applied to both signals reporting identical samples, demonstrating that the isolated substance corresponds to the taspina. Consequently variability taspine content obtained according to our studies we showed results in the latex of Blood of grade from Nanay River Basin (bass) has higher efficience taspine 7.2% compared with latex Blood of grade from the Napo (Upper) river whose yield is 6.45%, which leads to the conclusion that may be due to interspecific variation and evolution of the plant and the geographical environment which allows the precursor magnoflorina taspine chemist becomes more easily taspina Nanay Basin (Lower) in Napo Basin (Upper).
