The objective of this research was to establish the relationship between eating habits, socioeconomic status and physical activity with nutritional status in primary school students of IEPSM N ° 60113, public educational institution located in the center of Rumococha, district of San Juan Bautista, Iquitos. It is of a nonexperimental, transversal type, with a descriptive correlational design. It had a population of 336 and a sample of 100 schoolchildren. To obtain the data, the following instruments were used: food habits survey, questionnaire on socioeconomic level, physical activity questionnaire and nutritional evaluation form. Main results: 94% of schoolchildren in normal range, 5% with low height risk and 1% with high height. According to the IMC / E indicator, 70% of schoolchildren were identified in the normal range, 12% were at risk of overweight, 12% were overweight, 3% were obese, 2% were at risk of thinness and 1% were thin. On the other hand, it was evidenced that 81% of school children have inadequate eating habits and 19% adequate eating habits. 79% of the participants were classified as low socioeconomic level and 21% as a medium socioeconomic level. 71% of school children perform light physical activity and 29% moderate physical activity. A statistically significant relationship was found between the eating habits and the nutritional status of the schoolchildren; No relationship was found between eating habits and socioeconomic status, nor between dietary habits and physical activity. The execution of this work was carried out in the year 2017, during the first months of use of the San Juan - Santa Clara highway, which is a high traffic road and whose route happened to divide the town in two. This period was of accommodation of customs of the inhabitants to this road.
