Calidad educativa y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de 5º de secundaria - Institución Educativa "Colegio Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides" - Iquitos, 2013

Abstract

La Investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre calidad educativa y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de 5° de secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Colegio Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides” de Iquitos en el año 2013. La investigación fue de tipo descriptivo correlacional de diseño no experimental de tipo transversal correlacional. La población la conformó los estudiantes de 5° de secundaria matriculados en el año 2013 que fueron 346 y la muestra fue probabilística estratificado, siendo 185 estudiantes. La técnica que se empleó en la recolección de los datos fue la encuesta y el análisis documental y el instrumento fue el cuestionario y el acta de evaluación. Para el análisis e interpretación de la información se empleó la estadística descriptiva: Frecuencia, promedio y porcentaje y la estadística inferencial no paramétrica chi cuadrada (X2).

This current study aims to determine the association between the educational quality and the academic performance of the 5th grade secondary students of the Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides school of Iquitos during 2013. This was a descriptive correlational study, with a non- experimental, cross- curricular correlational design. The sample of this study was represented by 5th grade secondary students, registered during 2013 which made a total of 346 and the sample was probabilistic stratified, making a total of 185 students. The techniques used during the data collection were the survey and the document analysis and the instruments used were the questionnaire and the assessment act. In order to analyze and interpret this information, the descriptive statistics was used: Frequency, average and percentage and the non- parametric chi square (X2) inferential statistics.
