The purpose of the present investigation established the relationship between the shoring and the presence of third parties in the students of the Faculty of Dentistry of the national university of the Peruvian Amazon - 2017. The type of research was quantitative, the design was non-experimental, transverse. The sample consisted of 96 patients. A third molar presence and antero-inferior crowding. The most important results were: The prevalence of third molars was 88.5%. The vertical position was the most frequent with 44.8%, followed by the mesioangulated with 42.7% and dystoangulated with 1%. 80.2% of the sample had dental crowding. 62.5% presented mild crowding, 13.5% moderate and 4.2% severe. 76% presented third molars and dental crowding. 59.4% presented third molars and slight crowding, followed by moderate with 12.5% and severe 4.2%. Mild crowding was the most frequent in the mesioangulated position of the third molars with 30.2% and 28.1% for the vertical position. Moderate crowding was greater for the third molar vertical position with 8.3%. Severe crowding was more frequent for the upright position with 3.1%. There is a relationship between the presence of third molars and dental crowding. There is a relationship between the presence of third molars and the magnitude of dental crowding. There is no relation between position of third molars and dental crowding.
