District of Mazán, has as Capital to the city of Mazán, located in the basin of the same name. In its jurisdiction are populations dedicated to livestock and perennial crops. The study was conducted in communities adjacent to the District's capital. Mazán is located at coordinates 718 879 E and 9 623 350 N. To evaluate the participation of women as co-owners of the land and their participation in productive projects and as a member of the community, in the District of Mazán, Loreto region. The participation of women in the study area in productive projects is minimal (20%), but significant because of the work they perform within the field, however, men participate more as heads of families. As far as the ownership of the properties is concerned, 40% correspond to men, however, the couple owns the land (28%). As women, most do not know their rights to own the land (68%) and claim they do not have access to agricultural credits (80%). They develop activities complementary to that of man. However, her performance as farmers has always been since she was young. The farm and orchard prevail as production sites and "purmas" as extraction sites. The state of coexistence prevails (72%), but with legal interference in the things that they achieve as a couple within the sociocultural context of these families is already legitimized in family and communal plans. Primary education (58%) and secondary education (36%) prevail. The residence time in these communities is from birth. Prevailing the family production unit, where traditional production systems are applied. They actively participate in the work of the village in "mingas" and communal assemblies as assistants and in the APAFAS.
