The aim of this study was to evaluate the antifungal activity in vitro by the method macrodilution for fungi, with the ethanol extract of the bark of nanche (indane). The sample was collected in Allpahuayo -Mishana Reserved Zone; the sample is taxonomically identified in the Amazonian Herbarium of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon (UNAP) and was deposited for preservation in the xiloteca of the Faculty of Food Engineering - UNAP. Determining the phytochemical screening it was conducted in the laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering of Food Industries - UNAP. Extract doses were 50, 25, 12.5, 6.25, 3.125, 1.5625, 0.78125, 0.39063 and 0.1953 mg / mL, was used as positive control to obtain a CIM ketoconazole 2.5 ug / mL and obtaining a MIC of fluconazole 3.12 ug / mL. The phytochemical screening of the ethanol extract of the bark of nanche (indane) showed the presence of tannins, flavonoids, lactones and reducing sugars; for studying the in vitro antifungal activity by macrodilution method of fungal strains Candida albicans ATCC 90028 and Trichophyton rubrum ATCC 28188. The ethanol extract of the bark of nanche (indane) was used to evaluate allowed antifungal activity Candida albicans ATCC 90028 which showed a MIC of 1.5625 mg / mL compared with other strain ATCC 28188 Trichophyton rubrum study that showed results in CIM 0.39063 mg / mL.
