The present research work was developed in the company Boulevard Boulevard 251 Riverside Apartments, dedicated to the hotel industry, district of Iquitos, province of Maynas, Loreto region, with the aim of designing and implementing a plan for the integral management of solid waste. The type of research was descriptive - qualitative, since an existing situation was determined, without generating changes in the study variables. The population was all the workers of the company and the guests who were interviewed applying a sample for convenience, which, in total were 34. For the case of the characterization of the generated waste, the generation of the 15 was evaluated during 30 days. departments that the hostel has. A nonparametric statistical analysis was made as measures of central tendency and dispersion, frequency tables, regression tests and linear correlation. As a result of the research, it was established that the most generated solid waste is organic matter such as food residues, fruit and vegetable peels, quantifying the generation per capita in 5.1 Kg / day, 153 Kg. / Month and 1836 Kg. / year approximately for a population of 300 people; This result has allowed us to know the most common type of waste that is generated and to apply an appropriate solid waste management plan. Finally, a capacity development plan was developed for the company's personnel on the integral management of solid waste and recycling so that they can properly segregate the waste generated in the hostel.
