The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve is located between the Ucayali and Marañon rivers in the lowland Peruvian Amazon, and rough 170 villages in the area depend on extraction of resources from the extensive flood plains in and just outside the Reserve. The present study spans two months teamwork with 23 members from Veinte de Enero village, geographically distributed in the Yanatacu Pucate basin. The primary aim of this research is to acknowledge the current situation of aguaje supply from the Yanayacu Pucate basin, Veinte de Enero village in Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to agribusiness initiatives from Iquitos city, in order to get the information targeted surveys was used, in both producer’s association community as agribusinesses identified in Iquitos. It was identified that the exploitation is given by a management group called Association for the Conservation of Natural Resources - ACORENA with 23 partners; production occurs throughout the year, in 2015 there were a total of 2 549 sacks (127.45 tons), with the months of exploitation: April (455 sacks), May (507 sacks), June (929 sacks), September (326 sacks) and November (332 sacks), and there is a production deficit of 8 552 sacks of 11 101 sacks approved by management plan in 2015. Sales prices range from S / 5.00 to S / 20.00 by place of sale (community or Nauta city) and product quality. In Iquitos were recorded 09 agribusinesses that use Mauritia flexuosa L. f “aguaje” as raw material for manufacture of ice cream, popsicles, etc., the supply is mainly from this basins: Marañon (36%), Napo (14 %), Ucayali (14%), among others. To sum up we conclude that agribusiness city of Iquitos are not supplied with production from Yanayacu Pucate basin, Veinte de Enero community in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.
