The research study of "KNOWLEDGE OF MOTHERS IN OTHER RELATED TO FOOD NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN INFANTS. REGIONAL HOSPITAL Loreto. 2014 ". It was held in the Offices of Growth and Development of Regional Hospital of Loreto "Arriola Felipe Santiago Iglesias." Problem formulation study was What is the relationship between knowledge of the mother in complementary feeding and nutritional status of infants 06 to 12 months of age at the Loreto Regional Hospital in 2014? This raised the overall objective: To evaluate the relationship between knowledge of mothers on complementary feeding and nutritional status of their children 6 to 12 months attending clinics CRED in Loreto Regional Hospital, 2014. specific objectives: Identify the knowledge on complementary feeding mothers attending clinics of CRED at the Regional Hospital of Loreto, 2014; To assess the nutritional status of children 6 to 12 months attending clinics in CRED Loreto Regional Hospital, 2014 The consequent hypothesis: There would relationship between maternal knowledge in complementary feeding and nutritional status of children from 06 to 12 months of age treated in clinics CRED Loreto.2014 regional Hospital. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive approach, and correlational non-experimental design study of cross section. The results were: The level of knowledge of mothers is; 68.6% mothers have adequate knowledge and 31.4% mothers have inadequate skills. With the size indicator for age, 73.3% of children 6-12 months who are attending have normal nutritional status, 15.3% are stunted, and 11.4% have at risk stunting. With the weight-for-height indicator, 64.8% of children aged 6 to 12 months had normal nutritional status, 21.0% are at risk for overweight and 9.5% were overweight.
