Live ornamental fish are one of the main export products of the Loreto region, demand in the world for its colorfulness, colors, shapes, and unique species, existing only in the Amazon basin. This activity occupies a significant number of families, according to estimates by the Regional Directorate of Production of Loreto, is approximately 10,000; located in the main basins of the Amazon rivers where the resource is extracted. The aim of this master thesis was to demonstrate the evolution of the amounts exported ornamental fish of the Loreto region in the period 2011. This was carried out this research descriptive and non-experimental design, because it is he proceeded to review export statistics taking as a starting point Iquitos Customs without altering the way the elements involved and the environment. After analysis and discussion of the results, it was proved that exports of ornamental fish of Loreto during the period 2011-2015, are concentrated in a few companies, and few markets (China) (Acuatrade SAC and Stingray Aquarium SAC.) , which represents a great risk, because if something goes wrong with them, this will negatively affect the export figures. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out diversification of products, companies and markets, participating in international fairs, business meetings, trade missions, etc.; may request the support of specialized institutions such as MINCETUR, PROMPERÚ, ADEX, and Chamber of Commerce.
