The dental office “Dental Abreu” is an institution that provides dental services to patient institution accomplishes its processes of appointments, patients‟ consultation, of clinical story of the patients, budgets, prescription and control of patient of manual form that time to realize any of these processes for at the wrong time therefore. The propose I present in this project in the development of The present practical work consists in develop an Information System for Management of Appointment “ODONTOSYSTEM” for the Dental Office Dental Abreu, this system will allow to give a better service to the patients and to perform his work activities faster and better and besides will allow other workers to automate their daily tasks, making the organizational processes faster. The tools used for developing the information system based on desktop system were Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 used for development of the software for the design and implementation of the database will be used Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as a storage data and the tool DB Designer 4.0 for modeling the database and the IBM Rational Rose Case Tool 7.0 used for graphical representation of the concepts of requirements, Analysis, Architecture, Design and Implementation, introduced in the RUP methodology and UML notation, and which is used in this practical work. At the end of this report will achieve as a result an Information System for Management of Appointment “ODONTOSYSTEM” for the Dental Office Dental Abreu, which will have the main automated process. The Patient Care System will bring many benefits for the staff working in the office and control of patient, doctors, medical, medical jobs appointment and customized reports. The development of project is divided in two sections, to make possible the logical sequence: At the Section I: is detailed the general data of the Project. At the Section II: is detailed the general vision of the proposed solution that is composing for IX chapters: Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana. Desarrollo de un Sistema Información para la Gestión de Consultas Odontológicas “ODONTOSYSTEM” para el Consultorio Odontológico Dental Abreu, Iquitos - Perú 7 Chapter I: is related to the introduction of the reality problematical that is going through the manual processes and the objectives to get with the development of the project. Chapter II: Are described the design of the solution, the techniques acquired to recollect data, the methodology acquired for the analysis of the solution of the project, is described as well the development of the solution and the indicators for evaluation of the solution are identified. Chapter III: the investigation is making using the methodology RUP for the development of the solution of the project, the business modeling, the requiring modeling and the analysis modeling. Chapter IV: is reference the design model of the project and the interfaces of the modules of the system design are defined. Chapter V: is making the modeling design of the data base as the logical model and the physical model. Chapter VI: is described the project implementation represented by graphics as the components diagram and dispersion diagram. Chapter VII: is being mentioned the results of the project and the arguments. Chapter VIII: is being mentioned the conclusions of the project. Chapter IX: is being mentioned the recommendation of the project, ending with the annexes and the glossary.
