The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude about dent alveolar traumatisms of the parents of the villacruz population in the !quitos-Nauta road. The investigation was quantitative; the design was non experimental, correlational,transversal. The sample was composed by 174 parents, one parent per child (mother or father). The instruments used were questionnaires of knowledge and attitude, which both were validated by a trial of experts and for reliability, the alpha of Cronbach was employed, 0.867 and 0.803 respectively. The most important discoveries were: The parents' knowledge about dent alveolar traumatisms were Regular with 82.8% (144), in relation to the attitude of parents on dent alveolar traumatisms was 81% (141) with a positiva attitude. According to the knowledge questionnaire, the question that was less successful was N° 14 ¿How would you take it from the moment it touches the floor until your kid gets attended in emergency?, with 3.4% (6 parents), and the most successful question was the N° 7 "lf your child's tooth gets partially or completely fracturad, ¿which is the first place you would go to?, with 82.2% (144 parents), we found that there was very distant results. According to the attitude, the question N° 2 received the lowest percentage of favorable responses with 18.4 %(32 parents), "lt is bets to place the baby tooth in the same place". However question N°12 received the highest percentage of favorable responses with 98.8% (172 parents), "We must take the child immediately to the dentist". There is a statistically significant {p=0.006) relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude about dent alveolar traumatisms of the parents the villacruz population in the lquitos-Nauta road. The 69.6% of parents had regular knowledge and positive attitude.
