The general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of social inequality and digital gaps in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, in students from the second to fourth level of the professional career of Social Sciences, Faculty of Education Sciences and Humanities. The type of research was applied, with a cross-sectional correlational design, with a population and sample of 172 students, for the collection of information, two question questionnaires were used. The result obtained was verified with Kendall's Tau-b coefficient where its value was -0.443 and its approximate significance was 0.001 (p < 0.005), interpreting that as social inequality in students is deficient, the digital divide in them will tend to widen. be tall; and it is concluded, at a confidence level of 95%, that there is a significant difference between social inequality and the digital divide in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic in students from the second to fourth level of the Social Sciences professional career.
