The purpose of this research study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude on preventive measures in oral health in teachers and assistants in four Public Initial Educational Institutions in the District of Iquitos, 2020. A population of 105 teachers and assistants was used in the following institutions: I.E.I. Cuna - Jardin Nº 157 "Victoria Barcia Boniffatti" (58), EI Nº 172 "Angel De La Guardia" (21), IEI Nº 344 "Mi Primer Aprendizaje" (15), IEI "Junta De Defensa De La Infancia" (11). A quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study was designed, being a prospective study. A structured survey of 10 questions on the level of knowledge and 15 questions on attitude in preventive measures of oral health was applied and validated by the technique of "Juicio de Expertos “. The study hypothesis is "There is a significant relationship between the Level of Knowledge and Attitude on Preventive Measures in Oral Health". Pearson's Chi-square test was used with a 5% correction of significance (p=0,000); obtaining the following results: it is observed that 54.3% (105- 57) presented a favourable attitude towards prevention on oral health and 53.3% (105- 56) obtained a sufficient or adequate level of knowledge. Reaching the conclusion, which is stated with a 95% confidence level, that the knowledge level is significantly related to the attitude on Preventive measures on Oral Health.
