The objective of this research study was to determine the relationship between Maternal Sociocultural Factors and Adherence to micronutrients in children from 6 to 36 months of age, from IPRESS I-4 Morona Cocha, Iquitos - 2018. The method used it was quantitative, the type of descriptive study, correlational cross-sectional design; the sample consisted of 175 mothers. The instrument was a questionnaire of Maternal Sociocultural Factors and Adherence to the Micronutrient; whose validity is 93,67% and reliability 84,56%. Regarding mothers, 44,0% are over 25 years old, 43,4% are between 19 and 25 years old, while 12,6% are under 19 years of age; 54,3% cohabitants, 37,2% single and 8,6% married; 77,7% reported having less than or equal to 2 children (as) and 22,3% greater or equal to 3 children (as); 45,2% are housewives, 38,2% are independent, 8,6% are dependent and 8,0% are students; 64,6% reported having a lower level of education and 35,4% higher education; 88,6% obtained adequate knowledge and 11,4% inadequate knowledge. There is a significant relationship between the social and cultural factors of the mother and adherence to the micronutrient: age (p=0.001), marital status (p=0.015), number of children (p=0.021), occupation (p=0.003) and knowledge about the micronutrient (p=0.007); while with the cultural factor: degree of instruction and adherence to the micronutrient has no significant relationship (p=0.648). The results obtained contribute to strengthen the actions of the nursing professional in the CREDE office, establish the implementation of new extramural strategies so that mothers improve the practices in the micronutrient administration.
