Lake Quisto Cocha has been contaminated by organic and inorganic solids and fecal solids, from humans, quadruped animals and birds, without the least chemical and biological treatment, infesting the body of water and making it intolerable for human consumption. It is necessary to evaluate the environmental impact and to know closely the damage caused to the environment and especially to the biomass of the compromised area, where the problem statement focuses on the physical, chemical and bacteriological characterization of this body of water. The physical-chemical and bacteriological characterization of the waters of the “Quisto Cocha” lake, serves to improve it, for the good of the health of the people who attend it and to guarantee the existence of aquatic species and the ecosystem. That the solution of negative environmental impacts be done immediately, to avoid irreversible damage to the environment. These determinations lead to formulate the hypothesis, focusing on the characterization of the waters of Lake Quisto Cocha-Loreto. The research work establishes the objective of characterizing the degree of contamination of Lake Quisto Cocha and determines the necessary care, so that the people who come to this tourist center, including the aquatic species found in the lake, are free of possible pathologies and proposes, at the same time, solutions to those responsible for its administration, maintaining a healthy and safe environment, at any time of the year. The results are shown in Tables: 08, 09 and 10, where parameters, such as Hydrogen Potential (pH), in all sampled stations and Nitrates, only in the rising season; They are outside the Maximum Permissible Limits (MPL) of the Peruvian legal standard. The parameters of Dissolved Oxygen (D.O.) deserve a separate comment, whose values indicate that it is a water body with oxygen, guaranteeing the existence of biomass. The same occurs with Oils and Fats (A / G), that there is no danger of the presence of greasy films xv on the surface, facilitating the capture of sunlight and facilitating photosynthesis of the microorganisms present. Carbon Dioxide (CO2), despite the fact that Peruvian legislation does not present PML, its presence in excess in the body of water causes modification of pH values, increasing acidity and therefore, the habitat of many aquatic species. , of the lake under study
