This research was conducted in the artificial chamber drying CIEFOR Puerto Almendras, Faculty of Forestry Sciences of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, located in the city of Iquitos, district of San Juan Bautista, Maynas province department of Loreto; in order to evaluate the way of wood drying based on two drying programs for species Andiroba (Carapa guianensis Aubl.), to 4/4 inch thick in chambers with hot water. The results show that the model proposed by the National Board of the Cartagena Agreement (JUNAC, 1989), reached a final moisture content of 06% in 245 hours (10,21days) and the US proposed Schedule (Table 16 , T3 -C2), quoted by the JUNAC (1989), reached a final moisture content of 06% in 241 hours (10.04 days). The performance of artificial drying process proposed by the National Board of the Cartagena Agreement (JUNAC, 1989), the program is 98.47 % wood first recovery 1.87 %, rejection and 1.35% and waste 0.18 % and proposed by the US Schedule artificial drying performance (Table 16 , T3 -C2), quoted by the JUNAC (1989), is 98.41 % wood first, recovering 1.90%,1,40% rejection, 0.18 % waste. The classification drying way of the drying process of both programs is VERY GOOD.
