The aim of this study was to describe drug interactions in hypertensive patients treated in the outpatient CAP III Punchana Polyclinic, EsSalud ,. lquitos, through methods prospective, longitudinal, and correlational. In the CAP 111 EsSalud Punchana Polyclinic during the months January to June 2012, 684 patients were treated patients diagnosed with hypertension outpatient atentidos, ranging in age from 30-89 years, with a prescription of at least two (2) medications. Of all patients with hypertension (n = 684 patients) only 8.8% (n = 60 patients) had drug interaction and 91.2% (n = 624 patients) had no drug interaction. 100% (n = 60) patients had drug interaction, 98.3% (n = 59 patients) had interaction Pharmacodynamics and only 1. 7% (n = 1 patient) pharmacokinetic interaction. With regard to age groups according to drug interaction in adult hypertensive patients treated in the outpatient CAP 111 Punchana Polyclinic EsSalud month from January to June of 2012, we can see that 100% (n = 206) adult patients with hypertension 50 to 59 years 10.2% (n = 21) had higher drug interaction, then there are the age groups 60-69 years of 100% (n = 211) 9.5% (n = 20) patients had drug interaction, 40 to 49 years 100% (n = 100) patients was 9.0% . (n = 9) patients had interaction, 80-99 years of 100% (n = 35) patients 8, 3% (n = 3) patients showed interaction, 30-39 years of age with 100% (n = 13) patients only 7.7% (n = 1) interaction and patient had 70-79 years of age with 119 (100%) presented six (5.0%) patients who had interaction. Of the 60 (100%) adult patients presenting hypertensive drug interaction, the highest percentage 61.7% (37 patients) was sex Female patients and 38.3% (23 patients) for patients Sex Male. The number of prescribed drugs and drug interactions in adult hypertensive patients treated in the outpatient polyclinic Punchana, CAP 111 EsSalud during the month of January to June of 2012, it is observed that 100% (n = 60) adult patients with hypertension presenting drug interaction, the highest frequencies were for patients who were prescribed 4 drugs with 28.3% (n = 17 patients), 6 prescription drugs 23.3% (n = 14 patients) and only 1.7 % (n = 1 patient) patients prescriptions drugs 2 and 10 respectively. With respect to the dose of drugs and drug interactions, shows that 100% (n = 60) hypertensive adult patients presenting drug interaction, the highest percentage 96.7% (n = 58 patients) of the prescribed dose for medications every 12 hours was 3.3% (n = 2 patients) was daily dose. The higher frequency with respect to drugs that interact for naproxen 275 mg in 50.0% of (n = 30) patients, diclofenac 75 mg in blister on 30.0% (n = 18) patients, 18.3% lbuprofen 400 mg (n = 11) Spironolactone 25mg patients and only 1.7% (1) patient.
