Necesidad de tratamiento periodontal según trimestre de gestación en pacientes embarazadas atendidas en el Centro de Salud Bellavista Nanay, 2012

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general demostrar que las pacientes embarazadas en el segundo trimestre de gestación presentan mayor necesidad de tratamiento periodontal en el centro de salud BELLA VISTA NANAY - 2012. Es un estudio no experimental, descriptivo comparativo, entre los pacientes del primero, segundo y tercer trimestre de gestación del embarazo. Para este estudio la población estuvo constituida por 100 pacientes del centro de salud de Bellavista Nanay y la muestra fue de 60 pacientes divididos entre los tres trimestres, primer trimestre 16, segundo trimestre 26 y tercer trimestre 18. El instrumento que se utilizó para el presente estudio fue el índice periodontal de necesidades de tratamientos de la comunidad (CPITN) Los resultados del análisis fueron: De las 60 (100%) pacientes embarazadas examinadas, de acuerdo al CPITN, 52 (86.67%) presentan necesidad de tratamiento periodontal, de los cuales el primer trimestre representa 14 (23.33% ), el segundo trimestre 20 (33.34%) y el tercer trimestre 18 (30.00%); sin necesidad 8 (13.33%), 2 (3.39%) en el primer trimestre y 6 (9.99%) en el tercer trimestre. Los resultados de análisis presencia de enfermedad periodontal de 52 pacientes embarazadas; el 50.00% se encontró código 1, el 26.93% código 2, el 7.69% código 3, mientras que solo el 15.38% código 4. Se encontró un índice mayor de necesidad de tratamiento periodontal en pacientes embarazadas en el segundo trimestre que representan (33.34%) con respecto al primer trimestre (23.34%) y al tercer trimestre (30.00%) En términos generales se encontró que las pacientes embarazadas en el segundo trimestre de gestación presentan mayor necesidad periodontal a nivel de significancia a = 0.001 con x2c (8) = 26.125 y x2c = 49.08 y significación x2c es C=0.99

The general objective of this work was to demonstrate that pregnant patients, treated in the Bellavista Health Center in Nanay en the year 2012, in the second quarter of pregnancy • shown greater need of periodontal treatment. This is a comparative descriptive work, among patients of the first, sécond and third quarter of pregnancy. The study population was of 100 patients, and the sample was 60 patients divided by quarter; first quarter 16 patients, second quarter 26, and third quarter 18. The tool used for this study was the index of periodontal need of treatment in the community (CPITN). The results of the analysis were: Of a sample of 60 pregnant patients researched, in consideration to CPITN, 52 (86.67%) shown the need to periodontal treatment, 14 (23.33) of them in the first quarter, 20 (33.34) in the second quarter, 18 (30.00%) in the third quarter; 8 (13.33) patients show no need of periodontal treatment, 2 (3.39%) in the first quarter and 6 (9.99%) in the third quarter. The result of the analysis of evidence of periodontal disease of 52 pregnant patients; 50% are classified as .code 1, 26.93 % as code 2, and 7.69% as code 3, and 15.38 presented code 4. lt was found a greater index of need of periodontal treatment in pregnant patients en the second quarter, 33.34% compared to 23.34% and 30.00% in the first and third quarter respectively. In general we found that patients in the second quarter of pregnancy shown greater need of periodontal treatment at the level of significance a = 0.001 con x2 c (8) = 26.125 and le = 49.08 and•significance x2 c is C = 0.99.
