The objective of this study was to know the families and genera of plants dispersed endozoochorically by frugivorous bats in the lightly and moderately disturbed forests of the Faculty of Biological Sciences located in Zúngarococha; bats were captured using mist nets and identified using taxonomic keys and field guides. With a sampling effort of 545 hours/net, 178 individuals were recorded, of which 89,89% corresponded to frugivorous bats (n=160 individuals). The most abundant species in both forest types were Carollia perspicillata (34,38%) and Carollia brevicauda (18,75%). Seventy-five percent of the fecal samples included seeds, where 27 morphospecies were recorded, among the most frequent were Piper sp.4, Piper sp.5 and Ficus sp.3 consumed by the genera Carollia and Artibeus. The species Carollia perspicillata, C. brevicauda, Artibeus lituratus, Uroderma magnirostrum and U. billobatum were related to the families Moraceae, Piperaceae and Hypericaceae, while Sturnira sp., and Rhinophylla fischerae to Urticaceae, Solanaceae and Araceae. And the species Vampyressa bidens and Rhinophylla pumilio with the Indeterminate families. In conclusion, frugivorous bats, by dispersing seeds of pioneer and persistent succession plants, are participating in the regeneration and conservation of Peruvian Amazonian forests.
