The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of abrasion, erosion, attrition and abfraction in adult patients attended in the "Manuel Cardozo" Health Center. The investigation was quantitative, and the design was descriptive. The sample was selected randomly, and was conformed by 288 patients. The instrument used was the Register for Odontology Clinical Findings for the prevalence of abrasion, erosion, attrition and abfraction. That was validated by Camiñas L. and Carranza R. in the year 2011. The most important results were: The non-cavity lesions were: Attrition (94.8%); abfraction (52.4%); abrasion (33%); erosion (13.9%). Teeth brushing prevalence (1 00%). Most u sed teeth brushing technic: Horizontal (86.1 %). Number of teeth brushing per day: One time (11.8%), two times (59%), three times (27.1 %), tour times (2.1%); occlusion interferences (3.5%), use of dental floss (1.7%), press their teeth (6.3%), habits (4.2%) Keywords: Abrasion, Erosion, Attrition, Abfraction. A significant relationship between parafunction and abrasion was found (p=O.OOO), acid foods and erosion (p=O.OOO) and also between acid foods and abfraction (p=0.002).
