The study area is located in the Fundo Zungarococha of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, located 200 m. in the path of the road to King Kong at the height of km. 5 of the Zungarococha road in the district of San Juan Bautista, Maynas province, Loreto department. Determine the amount of carbon sequestered in different species in multi-layer strips arranged in secondary forests. The study gave the following results: species obtained a higher average amount of biomass throughout the investigation were the Croton lechleri (sangre de grado), Inga edulis (guava) and Spondias mombin (ubos); with 0.88 Tn.MS/ha; Tn.MS/ha 1,17 and 1,42 respectively Tn.MS/ha for these species such results were the most developed in their biomass, and for that reason the results obtained from biomass subsequently served us for our other results. Carbon stock was obtained with the results taken from the biomass of the species studied, therefore we obtained the results more capture stock of the following species Croton lechleri (sangre de grado), Inga edulis (guava), and Spondias mombin (ubos); Tn.C 0.44 / ha; 0,59 Tn.C / ha; 0,71 Tn.C / ha respectively, these results will help us to get our CO2 equivalent, to obtain our final result that species were obtained higher carbon sequestration. The species were more CO2 equivalent Croton lechleri (sangre de grado), Inga edulis (guava) and Spondias mombin (ubos); with 1,62 Tn.CO2 / ha; Tn.CO2 2.15 / ha and 2.61 respectively. The arrangement of the species in treatments significantly influenced records Biomass values, Stock carbon and carbon dioxide equivalent Spondias species mombin and Croton lechleri, obtaining better yields in treatment 1 and treatment 2, respectively. Finally in this research in the multilayer system evaluated, since its installation in 2012 until the last evaluation in 2013 it has been possible to remove from the atmosphere 141.00 Tn.CO2 / Ha, this value can be traded in a market capture CO2 allowing improve revenues and improving the environment from the point of functional, social and economic terms.
