Objective: To determine the relationship between maternal morbidity and prematurity in adolescent mothers treated at the Apoyo Iquitos Hospital, years 2018 and 2019. Methodology: Quantitative research of epidemiological design relational, with 104 cases and 208 controls, reviewing the HC and the Perinatal Surveillance Management System, in order to obtain morbidity in pregnancy, and determine its odds ratio, and statistical significance. Results: young breasts in early / middle age have OR = 2.1 times the exposure of presenting premature children, young women in urban areas have a lower risk of having premature children than women in rural / marginal areas and adolescent women with primary education have an OR = 1.8 times the risk of presenting premature children. Adolescent mothers with anemia have a 6.9 times risk of having premature children (OR = 6.9; Ra = 42.2%; 95% CI (4.1 - 11.7); X2 = 58; p = 0.010). Adolescent women with UTI have twice the risk of having premature children (OR = 2.1; Ra = 16.7%; 95% CI (1.32 - 3.48); X2 = 9.7 p = 0.005. pregnancy has a 7.4 times risk of having premature children (OR = 7.4; Ra = 45%; 95% CI (1.5 - 36.4); X2 = 8.2; p = 0.005). Conclusion: Teen mothers with anemia, RPM, pregnancy-induced hypertension, overweight / obese, and insufficient controls are at high risk of presenting a premature child.
