The research was developed in the area of study that covers an area of 2.700 Ha. Located 9.5 km from the village of Tamshiyacu, district of Fernando Lores, Maynas Province, Loreto region, with the aim to analyze and identify the coverage and use of the land in the district in mention. The methodology consisted in carrying out activities for the collection and systematization of satellite information, cartographic, bibliographical and statistical, existing on the coverage and use of the land in the area of study, which was conducted by the classification schema CORINE Land Cover (Ideam, 2010), which allowed us to develop the coverage map and land use in the strategic area DeI District of Fernando Lores, Province of Maynas Province of Loreto (Tamshiyacu) for the year 2014 - 2015 1/50 scale 000, using Landsat 8 and on the basis of the area identified as non-forest by the analysis of the change in coverage. The classes identified in the coverage map and use of the territory in order from highest to lowest percentage are: open forest height of land (43.04%), pastures and natural spaces (44.21%), aguajales (2.20%), dense forest under 2.13%) flood, other crops surge (1.44%), fragmented forest with secondary vegetation (0.84%), mosaic of crops (0.80%), open forest under the mainland (0.48%), permanent crops (0.44%) shrub forest, open under 0.27% flood), areas of mining and hydrocarbons (0.20%), mosaic of crops with natural spaces (0.09%), continuous urban fabric (0.05%), discontinuous urban fabric (0.04%). With regard to water mirrors you have: River (3.45%), lagoons, lakes and swamps natural (0.26%).
