Objective: To determine the knowledge and attitudes on Biosafety held by students of the Faculty of Human Medicine of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, enrolled in the second semester of 2014. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional study. A questionnaire to explore knowledge and attitudes to students of the Faculty of Human Medicine of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, enrolled in the second semester 2014 was applied. Results: The level of knowledge of the participants predominated Regular level (65%), followed by Bad level with 32% and finally the Good level with 3%; the level prevailing attitudes of the participants was Good level with 73%, followed by a Regular level with 27%, no Bad level was found. Conclusions: We found a higher percentage a regular level of knowledge on biosecurity, but the bad level took second place; attitudes levels were good in most students, followed by regular, no founded bad attitudes.
