To compare combined therapy versus pharmacological in pain management in women with fibromyalgia at Hospital III-1 José Cayetano Heredia, Piura 2017 to 2021. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional analytical study was carried out in women with fibromyalgia seen in the neurology outpatient clinic of the Hospital IIII-1 José Cayetano Heredia Piura, from which data were extracted from the clinical history according to the pain reference. The analysis was performed in STATA considering chi-square for bivariate analysis and logistic regression for the generation of crude Rate Prevalence (RP), likewise, it was adjusted to a Lasso regression to obtain adjusted RP. Results: 129 women with fibromyalgia admitted to the study, pain persistence was found in 58.91% with a mean age of 57 years and pharmacological treatment only in 62.02%, with an average therapy assistance time of 21 months. The most frequent comorbidity was hypertension followed by anxiety and depression; an association was also found between pain persistence and comorbidity (RPa=2.15; 95% CI: 1.01-4.58) and type of therapy (RPa=2.38; 95% CI: 1.15-4.93, respectively). Conclusion: There is a significant association between pain persistence and type of therapy and comorbidity.
