14 fresh air inlets and 10 stale air outlets and 34 secondary stations were analyzed; Air velocities, gas concentrations, thermo-environmental conditions and the direction of air flow were measured. The current operating conditions were evaluated with the following result: The ventilation of the Mine is by “natural draft”, there is a Total of 296,510 cfm of fresh air intake and 301,970 cfm of used air output. The current Air requirement is 173,826 cfm, complying with a real Coverage of 171%, it tells us that if it meets its Air Requirement according to the D.S. 024-2016-EM and its Modifying D.S.N°. 023-2017-EM; However, the distribution of the air flow is not correct, as well as the minimum air speeds must be 25 m/min due to the use of ANFO. In the short term, it will be necessary to change to a forced ventilation system, for this projects are proposed, which required the acquisition and installation of the following fans: (02) 80k cfm, (01) 60k cfm and the installation of a damper in the GL 06E of Lv 4530 in order to direct the flow correctly. In the medium term, projects are proposed for the Carmen and Ore Sorting Zone and installation of the following fans: (01) 80k cfm in RB 01, (01) 80k cfm in RB 02 and another 150k cfm in RB 03. With these proposed projects, a CAPEX of 834,403 US$ is projected. Keywords — air flow direction, fresh air requirement, air coverage, air velocity.
