To increase the proportion of mineral resources recovered during the mining of polymetallic deposits and to ensure the integrity of workers, equipment and process in all phases of the mining process, this research analyses the underground mining method Sublevel stoping with the use of cemented backfill. The first step is to collect, organise and evaluate the geological and geomechanical data required for the excavation design. The pit dimensioning is carried out using empirical underground excavation design methods complemented by the use of numerical methods. Subsequently, the characterisation of the cemented backfill required to ensure stability during the mining cycle is developed. Finally, calculations of tonnage and ore value are made using computer tools, with the purpose of determining the percentage recovery and its economic effect on sales revenue.. Keywords — Sublevel stoping, excavation design, cemented fill, recovery percentage, sales revenue.
