On the Cusco-Paruro Road, problems are observed on the road such as excessive dust in dry weather, the road has plastic soil in rainy weather which can cause car accidents due to the low friction of the tires at the time of transportation on this road and also some pieces of road are detached, causing damage to the road. The objective of this research work was to evaluate to what extent the improvement of the physical-mechanical properties of the soil of the Cusco-Paruro Road will be achieved with the use of the additives, lime 1 %2%3% and cement 5% in order to achieve an adequate subgrade that complies with the criteria of the CE.010 standard (urban pavements) and also with the criteria of the CE. (Urban pavements) and also following the guidelines, parameters given by the MTC 2014 (Soils geology, geotechnics and pavements) , thus implementing the use of lime and cement together as an efficient soil stabilizing additive in the Cusco-Paruro road ways .This research thesis has a quantitative approach, with a research level of explanatory type and the research method is Experimental. A previous field study of the area was made in order to locate and take samples, for research purposes and following the parameters of the standards, it was established to make 4 pits in order to extract the samples and thus be able to test them. In order to carry out this research work, laboratory tests such as granulometry, plasticity limits, moisture content, modified Proctor and CBR, lime 1%, 2%, 3% and cement 5% were carried out according to the parameters of the MTC E.107, E.108, E.110, E.111, E.115, E.132 standards. Verifying the data obtained from the laboratory tests, it is analyzed that the added soil presents an improvement in its mechanical properties, as observed in test pit 02 (most unfavorable soil of the samples) with the addition of 1% lime and 5% cement presents a CBR of 62.48%. 48%, the soil with 2% lime and 5% cement presents a CBR of 75.30% and the soil with 3% lime and 5% cement presents a CBR of 73.67% presented at a subgrade level. (Urban Pavements) and the parameters of the MTC, concluding that the addition of 2% lime and 5% cement together has the best behavior for this type of soil, improving its mechanical properties but considering that it does not favor the physical properties.
