The objective of this research was to determine the relationship of work stress with work performance in administrative workers of the Santa Rosa Hospital in the province of Tambopata, Madre de Dios in the year 2021. The research approach is quantitative, non- experimental design and scope correlational; A 31-item questionnaire was applied to measure work stress and a 16-item questionnaire for work performance, to a total of 45 administrative workers of the Hospital Santa Rosa de Puerto Maldonado hospital. It was possible to conclude that there is no relationship between work stress and the work performance of administrative workers, according to the value of p = 0.343> 0.05; on the other hand, there is no relationship between physiological symptoms and work performance, determined by the value of p = 0.979> 0.05; While, social behavior symptoms are not related to work performance determined by the value of p = 0.696> 0.05, while there is no relationship between intellectual and work symptoms with work performance, with a value of p = 0.939 > 0.05; On the other hand, it could be established that psycho-emotional symptoms are directly related to the work performance of administrative workers, determined by the value of p = 0.009 <0.05.
