Introduction: Post-Covid-19 syndrome is called the persistence of post-infection symptoms with a stay of ≥ 3 weeks, which are predisposed to the development of musculoskeletal sequelae that, associated with different factors, whether personal or intrahospital, aggravate the muscle damage decreasing its functional status. Objective: To identify the factors associated with the development of musculoskeletal sequelae and functional status in patients with Post-Covid-19 syndrome at the Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital in Essalud-Cusco in the period January 2021-May 2022. Materials and Methods: It is an analytical, observational, cross-sectional and retrospective study of correlational scope, at the Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital of Essalud-Cusco in the period January 2021-May 2022. 316 were included, of which 91 people refused to participate. leaving only 225 eligible people who met the criteria. A database was built from the information obtained from medical records and telephone calls with a previously validated data collection form. The data were analyzed with the Chi square method using the statistical program SPSS® V25. Results and Conclusions: The factors associated with the development of musculoskeletal sequelae and functional status in patients with Post -Covid-19 syndrome are age, comorbidities, hospital stay and the use of corticoesteroids.
