The objective of the research was to determine if there is a relationship between addiction to social networks and the levels of adaptation in students of a public university in the city of Cusco, during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2021. This research had a quantitative approach of scope correlational, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study was carried out with a population of 18,597, with a population sample of 377 students, from a public university in the city of Cusco. The Social Networks Addiction Questionnaire (ARS) and the Bell Adaptation Questionnaire (abbreviated version) were used as a measurement instrument; Regarding data analysis, Spearman's non-parametric statistical method was used, which allowed establishing the intensity of the correlation between the study variables, a weak negative correlation was obtained between both variables as a result, with a Spearman coefficient = -0.287. Likewise, it was observed that 62.9% of the population is at a medium level of Addiction to Social Networks and that 31% of the population have low levels of Adaptation. In addition, a significant difference was found between both sexes, in the Adaptation variable, with women having the best capacity.
