Introduction: Biliary pathology is a common condition worldwide; the Cusco region is no exception. Choledocholithiasis is a disease that, if not treated properly and at the right time, can cause various complications. The application of the ASGE scale in patients with choledocholithiasis allows them to be classified into three risk categories, according to which they will receive specific management. The objective of this work is to correlate the predictive value of the ASGE scale in the management of choledocholithiasis at the Regional Hospital of Cusco, 2021. Method: Non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional and retrospective study. A review of medical records was carried out by means of non-random sampling by census from the selected ICD 10. Statistical analysis was performed with the SPSS version 23 program. To determine the correlation between the study variables, the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test and Chi square were used to determine the dependencies between them. Result: This study consisted of 87 patients from the Regional Hospital of Cusco with a diagnosis of choledocholithiasis, in the period 2021. It was established that there is a positive correlation between the ASGE scale and the management of choledocholithiasis, with a Spearman's Rho of 0.216; Likewise, the dependence of the variables was determined with a chi square of 28.575 and p= 0.000. The high-risk category group was made up of 58.6% and the intermediate category group by 41.4%. The most frequently performed surgical treatment in both risk groups was laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 40.2%. Conclusions: The positive correlation between the ASGE scale and surgical management in patients with choledocholithiasis at the Regional Hospital, allows this to be an adequate tool for decision making. The most frequent surgical treatment in this research work was laparoscopic cholecystectomy with EVB, performed mostly in patients with a high and intermediate risk category.
