This research project was to analyze the addition of corn stover ash to concrete, which determined whether this produces an increase in compressive strength and bending. This research was based on concrete samples, which were made with Portland cement IP YURA brand, fine aggregate quarries Cunyac and Red Mina, coarse aggregate quarry Vicho, corn stover was extracted from the districts Saylla, Tipon and Oropesa, the city of Cusco; design pattern mixes concrete and concrete added with ash corn stover was performed by ACI 211.1 method. These samples were formed by circular specimens, which were tested in proportions of 2.5%, 5% and 7.5% ash corn stover with respect to the weight of cement, 7, 14 and 28 days old and rectangular specimens in proportion 5% relative to the weight of cement, to 28 days of age. They were well parameters including resistance to both compression and bending, likewise consistency, then such additions were compared with a specific pattern as f'c = 210 kg / cm2. Based on the results, conclusions were obtained among which are that: The addition of 2.5%, 5% and 7.5% ash corn stover 7 days for compression strength, an increase of 50%, 55% and 110% respectively with respect to the specific pattern was obtained. The addition of 2.5%, 5% and 7.5% ash corn stover at 14 days for compressive strength, an increase of 34%, 40% and 81% respectively with respect to the specific pattern was obtained. The addition of 2.5%, 5% and 7.5% ash corn stover at 28 days for compressive strength, an increase of 30%, 35% and 47% respectively with respect to the specific pattern was obtained. The addition of 5% of corn stover ash at 28 days for flexural strength, 19.20 kg /cm2 was obtained, and a flexural strength of concrete pattern 20.99 kg / cm2.
