Water is an indispensable resource and its availability in the city of Cusco is not abundant. Projections indicate that the emergency due to a deficit of water resources will continue. Therefore, it is important to take measures to save this resource in industries that consume large amounts of water, such as the construction industry for the production of concrete, and thus achieve sustainable development. For this reason, this study focuses on analyzing the properties of concrete made with treated water from the San Jerónimo WWTP, in the province of Cusco, using the Hypothetical – Deductive method. For this purpose, a total of 50 samples of concrete briquettes were manufactured in order to evaluate their development in terms of compressive strength. These samples were divided into 2 groups: 25 conventional concrete briquettes and 25 concrete briquettes using treated water supplied by the San Jerónimo WWTP. Compression tests were carried out at 3, 5, 7, 14 and 28 days of concrete age. The results revealed that the concrete manufactured with treated water reached a compressive strength of 229.68 kg/cm2 after 28 days. Which means that this concrete meets 90% resistance compared to the standard concrete. On the other hand, the consistency of the concrete was measured according to NTP 339.035, the concrete made with treated water obtained a slump of 3.28 inches. What is interpreted is that this concrete meets the slump range. Likewise, during the evaluation of the setting time through penetration resistance, it was determined that the experimental concrete managed to comply with the requirements of NTP 339,088, by recording an initial setting time of 06 hours and 14 minutes, as well as a final setting time of 08 hours and 08 minutes, both times are within the acceptable time variation with respect to the standard concrete. It was concluded that the concrete made with treated water from the San Jerónimo WWTP complies with the physical and mechanical properties established in NTP 339,088.
