Análisis del uso del error como herramienta didáctica para mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del Área de Estructuras de la Carrera Profesional de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Andina del Cusco - 2012-II.

Abstract

La investigación realizada analizó el uso del error bajo una connotación positiva, introduciéndolo, de manera controlada, en el desarrollo de una clase, de manera que se convierta en una herramienta didáctica aplicable a los cursos del área de estructuras de la Carrera Profesional de Ingeniería Civil; cursos de carácter eminentemente técnico en los que se aplica de manera intensiva las matemáticas, física, geometría y las leyes de la mecánica, tienen por finalidad el diseño y verificación de elementos estructurales y sistemas estructurales tales como vigas, columnas, cimentaciones, muros, edificaciones y otras estructuras civiles.

La investigación se aplicó, en la Universidad Andina del Cusco, a los estudiantes de Ingeniería Civil que llevaron asignaturas obligatorias del área de estructuras el semestre 2012-II; analizando la incidencia de esta herramienta didáctica y cuantificando los resultados a través de las notas finales obtenidas, relacionándolas con el género, la edad y las asignaturas en las que se encontraban los estudiantes al aplicar ésta herramienta.

Los resultados obtenidos permitieron brindar importantes conclusiones y recomendaciones para el uso de esta herramienta didáctica, con la finalidad que se pueda obtener un proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje más significativo.

The performed research analyzed the use of error under a positive connotation, introducing it, in a controlled manner, in the development of a class, so that becomes in a dida hctic tool applicable to courses of the structures area of the professional career of Civil Engineering; eminently technical courses that applies intensively the mathematics, physics, geometry and mechanical laws, they are intended to the design and verification of structural elements and the structural systems such as beams, columns, foundations, walls, buildings and others civil structures.

Applied research, in the Andean University from Cusco, to the civil engineering students that they carried compulsory subjects the structures area of the semester 2012-II; analyzing the incidence of this teaching tool and quantifying the results through the obtained endnotes, related to the gender, the age and the subjects here were the students, to apply this tool.

The results obtained allowed to provide important conclusions and recommendations for the use of this teaching tool, in order that you can get a process of teaching - learning more meaningful.
