The present research work: Design and Physical Stability through numerical simulation with finite element methods of the Sacalla 05 waste rock dump in the closure stage of the Comarsa – La Libertad mine, demonstrates the stability analysis of the waste rock dump to determine the conditions of slope stability using the simplified Bishop method with contribution from the SLIDE v software. 6,005 from Rocscience, through analysis in static conditions such as seismic or pseudostatic. In the design of the final slope of the waste dump, the geometry is drawn with 30 m benches. high, bank face angle 33º (1.8H:1V), berm width of 30 and 60 m. and a maximum height of the waste material deposit of 120 m. The numerical modeling of the Sacalla 05 waste dump in the Comarsa Mine Closure stage was evaluated and analyzed with the Slide 6.005 software, to subsequently achieve through the simplified Bishop calculation method, obtaining the projected safety factor F.S. = 1.733 in pseudo- static static conditions. F.S.= 1,156, constituting stable. The methodology that was applied was applied, research level: descriptive and the design used was non-experimental – transversal. The T test is established for the hypothesis of the present study and according to the results, the null hypothesis is accepted because there is sufficient evidence such as p value>α, then I do not reject (H0). Therefore, if there is sufficient evidence with 95% confidence to affirm that the safety factor 1.733 guarantees the stability of the Sacalla 05 waste dump slope.
