Objective: Identify the level of anxiety of the students of the IX semester regarding the dental treatment in children attended at the Luis Vallejos Santoni stomatological clinic of the Andean University of Cusco 2020 Materials and Methods: This study corresponds to an observational, descriptive and analytical, quantitative, prospective, cross-sectional, non-experimental investigation the sample consisted of 26 students from the professional school of stomatology of the IX semester who are enrolled in the course of clinical pediatric dentistry at the Andean University of Cusco, which were selected by nonprobability sampling for convenience. The technique of this research was a survey, the instrument was a 10-item questionnaire developed and validated in the present investigation. Results: in the present study, they show that pediatric dentistry treatments generate a medium level of anxiety with a percentage of (61.5%) While in the non-invasive treatments in relation to the sex of the students, we obtained in the male sex the highest percentage of the level of anxiety was medium (23.1%) and in the female sex the average anxiety level was (30.8%)As can be seen in the level of anxiety compared to non-invasive pediatric dental treatment in both sexes, the level of anxiety was medium. According to the chi-square statistical test, this association was not significant p = 0.640 (p> 0.05), that is, the level of anxiety is not associated with sex On the other hand, the level of anxiety compared to invasive treatments according to the sex of the students, we obtained the following results in males the highest percentage of mean anxiety level was (30.8%) and in females the mean anxiety level was (26.9%) according to the chi-square statistical test this association was not significant p = 0.123 (p > 0.05) means that the level of anxiety regarding invasive pediatric dental treatment is not associated with sex
