The present research was developed with the objective of being able to determine the economic effects of COVID-19 in the floricultural sector in the District of San Salvador, Province of Calca, Cusco Region, period 2019-2021. Regarding the methodological aspect, it was a basic type study, being the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational scope and the hypothetical deductive method. The population consisted of 80 families dedicated to the floriculture activity in the District of San Salvador, to whom the survey technique was applied with its instrument, the uestionnaire, for data collection purposes. Along these lines, the study concluded the significant economic effects of COVID-19 in the floriculture sector in the District of San Salvador, Province of Calca, Cusco Region, period 2019-2021, given that production between 2019 and 2020 decreased by 56% and between 2020 and 2021 increased by 24%, perceiving an improvement in the last two years due to the economic reactivation. Likewise, with respect to employment from 2019 to 2020, there was a decrease of 49% and the variation between the years 2020 -2021 also shows a decrease of 29%. Regarding the income from flower production, a decrease of 37% is seen from 2019 to 2020 due to the low sale of flowers, and by 2021 there is an increase of 22%.
