The present work shows the pre-feasibility study for the production and commercialization of pineapple nectar in the Cusco region, which was carried out considering that nowadays, health care has become a worldwide trend due to the pandemic and the new normality. People adopted consumption habits and lifestyles that allow them to maintain adequate physical and mental health, complementing these habits with physical activities that are developed at home, outdoors or in a training center. Likewise, pineapple consumption has increased in recent years due to the benefits, vitamins and nutrients that this fruit offers for health, making it an excellent and attractive business opportunity to market pineapple nectar. Within this scenario, it is possible to find different alternatives in the Cusco market, which guarantee to meet these needs of health care and welfare, so the opportunity arises to conduct a pre-feasibility study for the production and marketing of pineapple nectar and its derivatives in the Cusco region. The purpose of this research project is to produce and market pineapple nectar, in order to bring consumers a product that contributes to and complements their healthy lifestyle, since it is intended to offer a drink (nectar) made from pure fruit, which can be consumed at any time of the day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, between meals, post workout, etc.). The production process of this beverage will begin with the acquisition of the raw material (pineapple), which will then undergo a pulping process to obtain the pure fruit nectar that will complement the healthy habits of consumers. The production plant will be located in the province of Anta, which is an industrial zone that, in addition to being close to the raw material and other inputs, is also close to the target market to be served; this zone has access and exit routes. The product will be marketed throughout the Cusco region, since sales will be made through digital channels and distributors such as well-known supermarkets in the area will also be used. Regarding the technical feasibility, the necessary resources to elaborate the pineapple nectar will be the machinery, equipment and technology for the production process, packaging and labeling of the product, which are shown in detail in chapter five; likewise, trained personnel with knowledge and skills are required for the production and marketing of pineapple nectar to be successful, all considering the benefit-cost ratio. The investment in this project is made up of 60% equity capital and 40% financing from the Cusco Municipal Savings and Credit Found, which in total amounts to S/ 204,336. Likewise, the economic and financial evaluation has made it possible to determine that said project would be viable and profitable with results of VANE S/ 665,601, TIRE 54%; also, with VANF results of S/ 391,757, and a TIRF of 59%.
