The main objective of the present research thesis is to make a comparative analysis of a concrete standard f'c 210 kg / cm2 and a concrete added with fibers of steel Dramix 3D, in the resistance of the concrete both to compression and flexion. The concretes were made with portland cement IP, fine aggregate of Cunyac quarries (75%) and Vicho conifer (25%), aggregate of 3/4 of the quarry of Vicho, as these were the selected aggregates that complied with The characteristics required by ASTM C 31, Dramix 3D steel fibers in percentages of 1, 2, 3 and 4% with respect to the volume of the fine aggregate of the mixture and plasticizing additive Sika HE-98, the concrete was designed with the method ACI. A total of 90 cylindrical specimens (10x20cm Briquettes) were used as standard ASTM C 31 and 90 prisms (beams), which were subjected to tests of resistance to compression and flexion with the inclusion of steel fiber in dosages of 1, 2, 3 and 4% in relation to the volume of the fine aggregate of the mixture, amounts considered reasonable for the investigation, based on the data sheets of the suppliers of this material. In the same way, the influence of these steel fibers on the concrete consistency, studied through the Abrams cone, was considered. The results obtained with the inclusion of 2% Dramix 3D steel fibers showed a better compression behavior for 28 days of curing and the inclusion of 3% Dramix 3D steel fibers showed a better flexural behavior for 28 days.
