This research work entitled “RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CREDIT FACTORS AND DEFAULTS OF THE CAJA MUNICIPAL DE AHORRO AND CREDIT (CMAC) S.A. HUANCAYO, IN THE CITY OF CUSCO IN THE YEAR 2020”, taking the San Jerónimo agency as a case study, with the objective of describing the relationship of credit factors with the delinquency of CMAC S.A. Huancayo, in the city of Cusco in 2020, considering the type of methodological design: applied, descriptive, cross-sectional and application-oriented. The conclusion was reached that within the different macro and microeconomic variables that maintain a relationship with delinquency, are the characteristics of credit policies, financial risks and payment culture, which have significantly influenced the increase. of delinquencies throughout 2020, factors that were not optimally addressed by CMAC S.A. Huancayo, in the year 2020. Thus, a large percentage of the clients who began 2020 by requesting and acquiring a loan from said entity stopped meeting their financial obligations to the company, causing the delinquency rate to rise. Within the research, the relationship of the three main factors that were mentioned before and that should be the ones that make up the basis to be able to ensure the return of capital was sought, thus seeing a series of statistics in which carelessness can be generalized in certain aspects of their credit policies, their monitoring or the guarantee of the return of capital to avoid losses, all possibly due to the national situation of the Covid- 19 pandemic and the different decree laws that were issued in which they were protected. many customers to default on their payments properly. Thus, it was finally discovered that there is a significant relationship between the credit factors and the delinquency of the CMAC SA HUANCAYO, Agencia San Jerónimo, in the city of Cusco in the year 2020. The correlation between the delinquency and the credit factors It is varied, with the interest rate being an expression of credit policy, the variable that most influences delinquency, accompanied by other credit factors.
