The objective of the investigation "Factors that determine the violation of the principle of celerity in food processes in the justice of the peace of the district of San Sebastián, Cusco 2022", was to establish the factors that determine the violation of the principle of celerity in the processes alimony in the Justice of the Peace Court of the San Sebastián District in 2022. For this purpose, a study with a qualitative approach, explanatory legal level, was used. The study unit was made up of two family judges, two prosecutors and two specialist lawyers. The techniques and instruments used were the analysis of theories, matching and interviews with experts in the field (interview guide). From the results it was obtained that the main factors that define the study of the principle of celerity are the procedural load and the logistical personnel of the Court in question. Therefore, it concludes that the non-observance of deadlines established in article 544 of the Civil Procedure Code, is directly related to the violation of the principle of procedural speed in the food phase; However, when it is violated, it causes procedural overload in the San Sebastián District Justice of the Peace in 2022.
