He presented work entitled “CHARACTERISTICS OF ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION IN SCHOOLS FROM 12 TO 17 YEARS OF THE I.E.Mx. CECILIA TUPAC AMARU SANTIAGO-CUSCO, 2018 “the objective was to determine the characteristics of alcohol consumption in schoolchildren from 12 to 17 years of the I.E.Mx. Cecilia Túpac Amaru Santiago Cusco, 2018. The methodological design used was cross-sectional descriptive, the sample population consisted of 145 respondents. The technique used was the questionnaire. Within the general characteristics of students, 54% are between 15 and 17 years old, 59% are female, 64% are from marginal urban areas, 51% have incomes (tips or tips) of 20-50 soles per month , 54% are between the 4th and 5th grades of secondary school, 81% are exclusively dedicated to the study, 64% live with parents and siblings. Regarding the characteristics of the consumption of alcoholic beverages, 59% of schoolchildren from 12 to 17 years of age do not consume alcoholic beverages and 41% do so; of the group of students who consume alcoholic beverages, 24% are influenced by neighborhood and study friends, 27% started the consumption of alcoholic beverages between the ages of 16 and 17, 29% consumed rum, pisco and cañazo, 22 % consumed a few times a year, 19% consumed out of curiosity, 21% had access to alcoholic beverages by friends, 27% consumed from time to time until losing control, 24% acquired a taste for alcohol, 23% made a common stock to buy alcoholic beverages, 17% consume alcoholic beverages in the street, 20% never absent from classes for consuming alcoholic beverages, 25% in some lie for the consumption of alcoholic beverages, 25% had amorous encounters due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages, 21% I never caused conflicts, 21% disapproved at some time.
