The main objective of the research work is to determine the degree of relationship between the quality of service and the process in the purchase decision of tourists during their visit to San Pedro Central market- Cusco 2023. The methodology used is descriptive- correlational, nonexperimental and cross-sectional. The service quality questionnaire was used as an instrument and another survey on the tourist's purchasing decision process was administered to a total of 95 tourists, including nationals and foreigners, using non-probability convenience sampling. In order to obtain the results, Microsoft Excel was used to store the generated data and the SPSS v25 software was used for statistical analysis and the generation of tables and figures. In conclusion there is a positive correlation between the quality of service and the tourist's buying decision process during their visit to the Central Market of San Pedro - Cusco. This relationship is validated by a significance level of P=0.000 and an affinity level of λ=0.742, implying that it is a high positive correlation. Most of the responses from tourists are represented at a high level, both in the quality of service as well as the process in the purchase decision which is 44.2%, followed by the regular level in both cases represented by 37.9%. In order to optimize these results, it is recommended to train vendors on the quality of service and the purchase decision process and, when implementing them, it is advisable to monitor how these actions satisfy the customer's needs and create a unique experience during their visit to the market, as well as to implement strategies to simplify the process of the tourist's purchase decision.
