This research entitled: “Alternative tourism and its effect on the economic reactivation of the Pillpinto district, Paruro province, Cusco Region 2021”; where the general objective was proposed: “Determine how alternative tourism has an effect on the economic reactivation in the families of the Pillpinto district”, in the same way the general hypothesis was proposed: “Alternative tourism has a significant effect on the economic reactivation of the families of the Pillpinto district, Paruro province and Cusco region 2021.” The methodology used in the research was basic, with a quantitative approach, correlational scope, with the use of a non-experimental longitudinal design, the population is composed of the 1325 residents of the Pillpinto district, of which the sample . It was made up of 299 residents, the technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, Excel was also used to process the data that was collected during the research. Finally, to corroborate the hypothesis, Kendall's Tau_b test was demonstrated, where it gave a significance value of (0.008 < 0.05), accepting the alternative hypothesis, as for the relationship it gave a value of (Rho=0.964), which which indicates that there is a high positive improvement and based on the descriptive analysis it is concluded that alternative tourism influences economic reactivation, since the activities carried out in alternative tourism did not have the expected reception in 2021 due to the precarious situation that happened to as a result of the health crisis, as well as other factors, so the economic reactivation was not what was expected for that year.
