The relationship between internal control and inventory management in the Heritage area of the Ugel La Convención in Cusco, is essential to ensure the proper management of heritage resources, efficient use of public resources, compliance with regulations and transparency in asset management. A well-controlled inventory management is essential for the proper functioning and reputation of the entity. In the investigation, the general objective was to determine the relationship between internal control and inventory management in the Heritage area of the Ugel La Convención, Santa Ana - Cusco 2022. Applying a basic methodology with a quantitative approach, experimental design, being an investigation relational by measuring the link between the study variables. Counting on the population and sample of 136 principal teachers (collaborators) who work in the heritage area of the Ugel la Convención, Santa Ana - Cusco 2022; through the survey technique and using a questionnaire. Being able to verify the general hypothesis, that inventory control has a significant correlation impact on inventory management, because a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient is noted between the internal control variable and the inventory management variable, where a value is indicated. of 0.985, which is associated with a value sig (0.000) <0.05.
